Isabelle is getting ready to visit her grandparents this weekend. I asked her to pack her bag. Maybe it is because she knows I will pack her clothes or maybe it is because she values books, but this was all that was in her suitcase:
No toys. No games. No clothes. Just books.
I love this kid!

She’s got priorities!!
She certainly has her priorities right!
Dang right, books are a necessity!

Apparently underwear isn’t! (Lucky for her that I packed the other necessities.)
She made some great choices!
Smart kid! Must have strong role models : )
That is just precious!
Just perfect …. and great book selections too! š
She is her mother’s daughter! Love how sweet and simple the post is – and that picture and text go together here to tell the story. The photo says it all!
The problem is real! How wonderful to have passed on a love of reading.
I’d say she’s got her priorities in order.
Books are almost as important as breathing. It’s a good problem to have.
You’re definitely raising this girl right!
I love this! If you’ve got books, you’ve got all you need!
I’d say she is a reader. That’s how I pack. Is that wrong?!?! LOL!!!
LOVE it! I can remember my own daughter packing her library in her little purple suitcase to go on trips. She always had her “friends” with her. Love her choices!!
I kind of agree with her packing strategy. I’ve had that same dilemma.
My affection for Isabelle grows every day! She is a girl who knows what is important to her! I’m thinking she has an excellent role model for that.
Isabelle obviously knows what’s important.
Books are way more important than clothes! My son packs the same way, even at 10. He doesn’t care if he has clean socks, but he needs enough books, paper, and pencils to keep him busy. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
That just makes a mom heart sing! I think she has all she will need.

As long as she crams in a couple of pairs of clean underwear and her toothbrush, she will be in great shape!
Looks a little like my bag! Hope she had a wonderful time!
Oh, that is terrific!! You’ve raised her right!
This is just the best!
