Making Medical Appointments a Little Sweeter

Living by Hershey, PA provides lots of opportunities for sweet fun. Today was one of those days.

Isabelle used to hate having her ears and throat checked by a physician after a bad experience when she was 11 months old. Fortunately, she does much better with it now. AND, the promise of a trip to Chocolate World after the appointment helped make our visit to the ENT go smoothly.

  1. Well you’ve worn me out with your day, I hope all this activity led to a nap today. I’m grateful this podcast does not come with smell-a-vision. I’ll take a dark chocolate please. 🙂

  2. Some moments deserve chocolate. The doctor is definitely one of them! Your podcasts make me marvel at the way you remain focused on your story at the same time you interact with Isabelle. It is seamless and not as easy as it sounds!

  3. I loved hearing her voice mimic yours. I’m a grandmother and love how well the books your suggest fit my 2.5 year old granddaughter. Thanks to you Amazon is sending Lucy a copy.

  4. Loved the post. Loved going backwards. Loved, as always, hearing you scaffold Isabelle’s language. Loved that sweet girl snitching her mama’s chocolate! Glad I don’t live close to there- think it could be dangerous!

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below.
